Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment announced an assortment of edge-of-your-seat television series’ soon to be available on Blu-ray™ and DVD.

The truth is closer than ever with the September 18th release of “The X-Files: Season 11” on Blu-ray™ and DVD. And get ready for the first season of the newest nail-biters coming to DVD: “9-1-1” and “The Gifted” on September 25th, and “The Resident” on October 2nd.

“The X-Files: Season 11” – September 18th

The next chapter of “The –X-Files™” is a thrilling 10-episode installment of the classic, mind-bending series. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, investigating unsolved cases rife with government conspiracies, unexplainable mysteries, and alien cover-ups. Mulder and Scully’s pursuit of the truth continues with a search for their long-lost son, William. But they aren’t the only ones looking for him; dark forces gather, and the very fate of the world could be at stake. “9-1-1: Season 1” – September 25th

From creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear (“American Horror Story”), new procedural drama “9-1-1” explores the high-pressure experiences of police officers, paramedics, and firefighters who face the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. The series stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, and Connie Britton.

 

 

“The Gifted: Season 1” – September 25th

“The Gifted” tells the emotional story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family seeks help from an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. Set within the “X-Men” universe, the series stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White as the Strucker family. Also featured in the series are Sean Teale as Eclipse/Marcos Diaz; Jamie Chung as Blink/Clarice Fong; Emma Dumont as Polaris/ Lorna Dane; Blair Redford as Thunderbird/John Proudstar; and Coby Bell as Sentinel Services Agent Jace Turner.

 

 

“The Resident: Season 1” – October 2nd

Starring Matt Czuchry (“The Good Wife”), “The Resident” is a powerful new medical drama that focuses on the final years of a young doctor’s training and rips back the curtain to reveal both the good and the bad in hospitals across the country.
