The High-Intensity WWII Martial Arts Thriller “Prisoner Of War” Explodes Onto Blu-ray™ & DVD November 11

Allen, TX – October 7, 2025 – According to Film Combat Syndicate, martial arts action icon Scott Adkins (“John Wick: Chapter 4,” “Ip Man 4: The Finale,” “Undisputed”) “is a one-man army all the way through” the high-intensity WWII martial arts thriller “Prisoner of War,” debuting on Blu-ray™ and DVD November 11th from Well Go USA Entertainment. Adkins stars as a British SAS officer captured by the Japanese and held in a Philippine POW camp. Before the entire colony embarks upon the Bataan Death March, the officer and his fellow prisoners are forced to compete in brutal death matches for the entertainment of their captors.

Helmed by actor (MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING franchise, “Rambo: Last Blood,” “Affinity”) turned director (“3 Days in Malay,” “Operation Blood Hunt”) Louis Mandylor with action sequences by Alvin Hsing (“Bullet Train,” “Dr. Strange”) and stunt coordinator Stephen Renney (“Renfield,” “Osiris”), “Prisoner of War” also stars Peter Shinkoda (Marvel’s “Daredevil” on Disney+), Michael Copon (“Power Rangers: Time Force”), Gabbi Garcia (“Ero”), and Cowboy Cerrone (“Cobra Kai”).

SYNOPSIS

Starring martial arts icon Scott Adkins as British SAS officer James Wright, PRISONER OF WAR tells the story of a soldier captured by the Japanese and held in a Philippine POW camp. Before the entire colony embarks upon the Bataan Death March, Wright and his fellow prisoners are forced to compete in brutal death matches for the entertainment of their captors. Adkins puts in a career-best performance as the man who may be able to save them all.

“Prisoner of War” has a runtime of approximately 113 minutes and is rated R for strong violence and some language.
