Studio Movie Grill, the leader in in-theater dining, has announced plans for its eighth North Dallas location in the Lewisville Towne Crossing complex at 4800 State Hwy. 121. The 48,870 square foot theater will house 11 auditoriums and will feature SMG’s most advanced upgrades. SMG The Colony is slated to open on Thursday, July 30th.
Through its partnership with Brad Miller of Film-Tech, the 11 auditoriums at SMG The Colony will provide superior quality in film presentation by bringing industry-leading Christie and Dolby equipment to every screen plus Masterimage’s Clarity 3D. Each auditorium will feature VIP stadium seating and luxury, leather lounge chairs with built-in tabletops and ‘push-for-service’ call buttons. Every chair is equipped with electric recline with perfect settings for dining and relaxing, ensuring the most comfortable and enjoyable movie watching experience.
True to the brand, SMG The Colony will offer a top shelf one-stop destination for dining and entertainment. The new location will feature innovative menu options such as Sriracha Chicken Flatbread, handmade Pulled Pork Spring Rolls, along with some surprising new finger food desserts. The menu will also include SMG fan favorites such as Coconut Chicken and Artisan Pizzas.
In-theater or at the bar, guests will find an eclectic wine list and signature SMG Cellars wines from Central California. A menu of over 60 premium spirits will be available, alongside local craft brews. House favorites, such as the ever popular Texas Frozen Margarita and signature Studio Blue Grande Margarita, can be enjoyed while relaxing or socializing in a sophisticated, welcoming lounge area complete with dining and seating options.
