“The NBC 5 marketing team works diligently to communicate effectively with our North Texas viewers 24/7. The awards are a positive sign that we’re getting the job done while meeting a high standard,” said Gary Thomas Wann, NBC 5 Vice President, Marketing and Brand Development. “Awards are nice, but the most important thing to us is that our viewers value all that our station brings to them on NBC 5, NBCDFW.com and our social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.”

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
