Bill Murray leads the all-star cast of Barry Levinson’s “Rock the Kasbah,” so it’s only fair that America’s favorite clown prince gets the film’s first poster – debuting exclusively below – all to himself.
Murray stars as Richie Lanz, an aging rock manager who takes his last client on a USO tour of Afghanistan. But after being abandoned in Kabul, Vance has an epiphany: he discovers a young girl with an extraordinary voice and proceeds to get her into Afghanistan’s version of American Idol (called Afghan Star).
Written by Murray’s longtime friend Mitch Glazer, and starring Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride, and Scott Caan.
“Rock the Kasbah” is due out October 23rd via Open Road Films
