Alternative Comedy Theater is partnering with The Pocket Sandwich Theatre to present a week long summer workshop for kids and teens. This workshop is for folks between the ages of 11 and 17 who want to learn more about improv comedy! Participants will spend an entire week learning the basics of improv and then learn improv games with these professional improv artists. The workshop ends with a performance on Pocket’s stage. This is a great way to meet new people, loosen up in front of a crowd, and be more creative!! (and keep the kids occupied during the summer!)
Details:
- 11-13 year olds – Monday July 11 through Friday July 15, 10AM – 2PM. Showcase Saturday July 16 at 11AM.
- 14-17 year olds – Monday July 18 through Friday July 22, 10AM – 2PM. Showcase Saturday July 23 time at 11AM.
LUNCH WILL BE SERVED MONDAYS THROUGH FRIDAYS.
The price for the workshop will be:
- Early bird purchase up until June 10-$185. After that $200.
