Based on a true story, an aspiring New York City sportscaster’s life is on the slow track until he serendipitously gets the old cell phone number of a basketball superstar. Will the number be his ticket to success or a path to destruction?

I recently reviewed the upcoming comedy “#Lucky Number,” starring Tom Pelphrey, Natalie Hall and Clifford ‘Method Man’ Smith. You can read that 4 star review here. I had the pleasure to speak with the film’s writer and producer, Michael Cuccolo, where we talked about him leaving New York to pursue a filmmaking career in Hollywood, getting “#Lucky Number,” his first feature film off the ground and the true events that inspired the movie, including Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees.
