Looking to find an authentic, blood-curdling good fright for Halloween, five friends set off on a road trip in an RV to track down these underground Haunts. Just when their search seems to reach a dead end, strange and disturbing things start happening and it becomes clear that the Haunt has come to them.
“The Houses October Built” opens Oct. 10th in select markets theatrically and on VOD. The four creators and stars of the movie, Brandy Schaefer, Bobby Roe, Mikey Roe and Zack Andrews were in town recently to promote their film where I had the opportunity to sit down with them and we talked horror movies, The Blair Witch Project, handheld camerawork and one, Eli Roth.
