A young married couple’s lives are thrown into a harrowing tailspin when an acquaintance from the husband’s past brings mysterious gifts and a horrifying secret to light after more than 20 years.
While in Dallas recently to promote his feature film directorial debut “The Gift,” actor/director Joel Edgerton participated in a round table discussion with the local press and I was afforded the opportunity to ask him one question. Mr. Edgerton shot his movie utilizing the classical, conventional approach (think “Jaws” or “The Thing”) and I inquired if this technique was something he knew he was going to employ from the beginning.
