Using Your Short As A Stepping Stone Panel

A short film can serve many purposes in the long road of your filmmaking career. For some, it is a worthy end in itself, a goal completed. For others, it may be a proof of concept to set the scene for a feature-length dream. Regardless of whether you’re hoping for film festival awards or studio opportunities, this panel will help guide you toward the next steps you can take with your short film to head in the direction you want to go.

Producing Your First Feature Film Panel

Whether you’re building off of a proof-of-concept short, spending your life savings to bring your script to life or rallying the troops to pull together a story on a shoestring budget, this panel is for you. What does it take to bring your feature film from inspiration to delivery? And then what happens?
