Dario Argento & More To Celebrate The 40th Anniversary Of “Suspiria” At Texas Frightmare Weekend 2017

Dario Argento is coming to the 2017 Texas Frightmare Weekend to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of his masterpiece “Suspiria.”

Argento is best known for his work in the horror film genre, particularly in the subgenre known as giallo, and for his vast influence on modern horror.

Argento got his major break when Sergio Leone allowed him to write the story for “Once Upon a Time in the West.” He later directed several classics in the genre like his first movie “The Bird with the Crystal Plumage,” “Cat o’ Nine Tails,” “Four Flies on Grey Velvet,” “Deep Red,” “Tenebre,” “Suspiria,” “Phenomena,” “Inferno,” “Opera,” and many, many more. He’s an accomplished producer too as evident in Lamberto Bava’s “Demons” and “Demons 2.”
