Burlesquer Zora von Pavonine Talks About Her New Movie, “Burlesque: Heart Of The Glitter Tribe”

I was recently given the opportunity to speak with Zora von Pavonine, a Burlesquer who stars in the new documentary, “Burlesque: Heart Of The Glitter Tribe,” which hits theaters today, Friday, March 3rd and on VOD & iTunes Tuesday, March 7th. A published poet, holder of a handful of intellectual property patents, and a few degrees in the creative arts, Zora opened up about her love for Burlesque, making the movie, and how she got started in the business. You can read my 4-star review of the film here.

  1. […] For too many reasons to count, it is needless to say I have a new appreciation for the art of Burlesque. Even with a vast amount of resources, I realize that the information that I had come to judge Burlesque with, was from a place of irrefutable ignorance of the facts. Knowing now, that this highly-technical and multi-dimensional art form can only be performed by individuals who are highly-trained, master performance artists and more, forces me to succumb to the fact that they are an unequivocal force to be reckoned with. Take a moment and listen to the conversation with Zora von Pavonine, a bonified Burlesquer and Tribe Member, as she speaks with me one on one about her role in the Art of Burlesque, her goals for tapping into educational resources, and her solidarity in believing in what she does and the great benefits it has for others who would allow themselves the privilege of experiencing the Art of Burlesque in its truest and most natural form. You can hear that interview here. […]
