The studio who produced “Toy Story,” “Cars,” and “The Incredibles,” come to a creative mindful adventure with the Pixar Shorts.

The “Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 3” will be releasing on Blu-ray and DVD November 13th. It consists of eleven Pixar shorts, from “Partysaurus Rex” to “Bao,” to fulfill your enchantment. This is the third time Pixar Animation Studios is releasing a string of short films on a home entertainment release, following “Pixar Shorts Volume One” (2007) and “Volume Two” (2012).

Here are all the short films included in this release:

  • “Partysaurus Rex” (in front of Finding Nemo 3D)
  • “The Legend of Mor’du”
  • “The Blue Umbrella” (in front of Monsters’ University)
  • “Party Central” (in front of Muppets Most Wanted)
  • “The Radiator Springs 500 ½”
  • “Lava” (in front of Inside Out)
  • “Riley’s First Date?”
  • “Sanjay’s Super Team” (in front of The Good Dinosaur)
  • “Piper” (in front of Finding Dory)
  • “LOU” (in front of Cars 3)
  • “Bao” (in front of Incredibles 2)
  • Also includes two mini-movies: “Marine Life Interviews” and “Miss Fritter’s Racing Skoool”

The bonus features include the Making of “Bao,” about how the director, Domee Shi, shared her recipe for the production of the short film and the relationship with her mother and “Caricature: A Horrible Way of Saying ‘I Love You,’” about how representations of each Pixar colleague had brought what respect and admiration can be to turn into a caricature. Aside from these two, the release also includes Filmmakers’ Commentaries for each short.

The Pixar shorts are outstanding for a good opening act before the main feature film as mentioned above. The storylines for each short gives a good twist of comedy, drama, romance, and a conflict for these events of each short. The animation is really well done as well. Pixar keeps a good work ethic between short films and features for their tradition. They have a good taste of original ideas as Pixar puts some good unique way to showcase to the audiences.

The “Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 3” is a delightful gift for your Pixar collection, both features and shorts, if you’re a true Pixar fan. I say it’s worth the price and brings you the wonderful sensation of these true Pixar classics. This would make your eyes pop and have your mind blown. Like the Oscar-winning “Piper” and “Bao,” you will enhance yourself with “aahs” while for “Party Central,” “Lou,” and “Partysuarus Rex,” you’ll be enhanced with “oohs.” These short films never seem to disappoint while you watch them in front of a Pixar film or altogether on Blu-ray. If you want to watch these beloved shorts en masse, get it and watch it along with “Volume One” and “Volume Two,” to triple your amusement.

Available on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital HD November 13th
