Alamo Drafthouse Grand Opening: North Richland Hills Has The Perfect Combination Of Reel Brew

Alamo Drafthouse seems to have found a niche in North Texas. Since 2013, six locations have opened including the most recent one on 8380 Davis Blvd. in North Richland Hills. The NRH location is the first in Tarrant County. Complete with their signature vetted well, the Drafthouse also has a full-service dine-in menu and eight gigantic auditoriums that seat over nine-hundred film enthusiasts. The Disney Theme and vintage décor that is displayed proportionately on the auditorium’s walls boast of an atmosphere that is child-friendly and holds mass appeal for the entire family.

The local staff, which included the Chief Operations Officer and the managing partners, waited seven years to see the NRH location come to life and were on hand to do the grand-opening ritual which included using the storied and infamous Napoleonic sword to uncap the wine bottles that patiently awaited their fate. As the crowd cheered them on, each had their chance to see who could pull it off with the least amount of attempts. True to their grand-opening appeal, the Drafthouse was in full party mode with a live DJ and the entire vetted well guests and waitstaff dressed to the nines in full “Men In Black: International” mode. Fried pickles, pizza, and chicken fingers were served in bountiful portions along with a full-service bar that featured the popular Moscow Mule in cool copper mugs.

The Grand Opening feature film “Men In Black: International” gave the audience the perfect ending to a fun-filled evening. Although the entire characterization and monsterization has changed from the original 1997 film that starred Will Smith and Tommie Lee Jones, and the two that follow afterward, this F. Gary Gray spinoff, is still entertaining and meaningful as partners Chris Hemsworth (Agent H), Tessa Thompson (Agent M) and Liam Neeson (High T) work to protect the earth and bring peace and civility to a world of chaos.
