“Hokum” is a folk horror film directed by Damian McCarthy, starring Adam Scott as Ohm Bauman, a reclusive novelist who travels to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes. He becomes trapped, facing disturbing visions, a missing person, and tales of a witch haunting the hotel.
