Watch The Trailer For Paramount Network’s New Scripted Comedic Drama “68 Whiskey”

New York, NY. – November 25, 2019 – Paramount Network today released the official trailer for “68 Whiskey,” a new scripted, comedic drama from Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. “68 Whiskey” is the first scripted follow-up to Paramount Network’s smash hit and cable’s #1 original series for a second straight summer, “Yellowstone,” starring Kevin Costner. The series premiere of “68 Whiskey” will debut on Wednesday, January 15th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount Network.

Blending intense drama with irreverent humor, “68 Whiskey” follows a multicultural band of Army medics stationed in Afghanistan on a base nicknamed “The Orphanage.” Together, the medics navigate a dangerous and sometimes absurd world, relying on comradery, various vices, and occasionally, a profound sense of purpose, to carry them through. “68 Whiskey” stars Sam Keeley, Jeremy Tardy, Gage Golightly, Cristina Rodlo, Beth Riesgraf, Lamont Thompson, Nicholas Coombe, and Derek Theler. Paramount Network today also released “Inside 68 Whiskey,” an in-depth look at the new series featuring interviews with Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and the cast and crew.

“‘68 Whiskey’ delivers on Paramount Network’s mission to deliver TV as big as the movies. It’s unlike anything else on television right now, truly exploring modern military life in a way we’ve never seen before. It’s a provocative look at the cultural and social tensions faced by the men and women serving their country,” said Keith Cox, President, Development and Production, Paramount Network and TV Land.

“We couldn’t be more excited to share the first look of ‘68 Whiskey,’ our new series with Paramount Network. The series is cinematic, adrenaline-fueled and filled with wit and irreverence to cut the tension of the life and death stakes of war for U.S. medics in present-day Afghanistan. It’s unlike anything we’ve done before – and anything else on TV,” said Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.
