Watch The Chilling First Four Minutes Of “It”

Seven young outcasts in Derry, Maine, are about to face their worst nightmare – an ancient, shape-shifting evil that emerges from the sewer every 27 years to prey on the town’s children. Banding together over the course of one horrifying summer, the friends must overcome their own personal fears to battle the murderous, bloodthirsty clown known as Pennywise.

Just in time for Halloween, Fandango is exclusively presenting the chilling 4-minute opening sequence (Pennywise’s introduction) from the current horror blockbuster, “It.” The scene will be available across Fandango’s digital networks, including Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and Movieclips.

“As one of the year’s greatest success stories, ‘It’ is still going strong at theaters with repeat customers and first-time moviegoers making their plans to see it on Halloween weekend,” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “‘It’ continues to wow moviegoers because it delivers a healthy dose of ’80s nostalgia, horror, humor, romance, and adventure.”

In its eighth week of release, “It” expands to more than 2,500 screens throughout the country, and is “Certified Fresh” at 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. Tickets are available on Fandango here.
