USA Renews “Chrisley Knows Best” For A Fourth Season

USA Network today announced a fourth season, 12-episode renewal, for the buzzy, hit original reality series, “Chrisley Knows Best.” The real-life family comedy, which broke its ratings record on its third season premiere, follows the entertaining lives of Atlanta-based outspoken and overprotective “Patriarch of Perfection” Todd Chrisley, his charming wife Julie, their children and grandchildren, and Todd’s hilarious mother, Nanny Faye. Produced by Maverick TV and All3Media America, “Chrisley Knows Best” ranks as a top 10 unscripted cable series in all key demos and total viewers since its third season debut.

“The Chrisleys continue to be on a roll, as fans can’t get enough of the family’s amusing, unfiltered and relatable moments,” said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network. “We’re pleased to bring fans a fourth season of ‘Chrisley Knows Best,’ a show that keeps growing its audience, resonates with viewers and always has us guessing what’s next for Todd and his family.”

With its passionate and loyal fan base, “Chrisley Knows Best” has grown season-to-season in the ratings with season three averaging 2.6MM total viewers P2+ (up 17% over S2), 1.3MM P18-49 (up 11% over S2) and 1.4MM P25-54 (up 26% over S2) with L7/ L3 data. Earlier this year, the series took home the NATPE Reality Breakthrough Award in the best “Docusoap” category.

In tonight’s episode, Todd learns that Savannah has a new boyfriend who she’s intentionally keeping away from meeting her nosy and meddling family. In true Todd fashion, he goes to extreme lengths to get a glimpse of Savannah’s new guy and doesn’t like what he sees. The mid-season summer finale wraps up on Tuesday, July 21st with two back-to-back episodes including “Midlife Chrisley” airing at 9/8c and “Dude Ranch” airing at 9:30/8:30c, each of which feature birthday milestones for Todd and Grayson that are not to be forgotten and are celebrated in true extreme Chrisley form.

The second half of season three picks up this fall with six new episodes, including the family’s first overseas vacation in London before Chase and Savannah leave the cozy Chrisley nest and venture off to college.

The network will soon start production on two previously announced Chrisley pilots including a nighttime talk show hosted by Todd Chrisley from Embassy Row (“Watch What Happens Live,” “Talking Dead”) and a “Chrisley Knows Best” spinoff pilot with series partner Maverick TV.

The first two seasons and episodes from season three of “Chrisley Knows Best” are currently available on video on demand and on USANetwork.com. Fans can also access “Chrisley’s Corner” on USANetwork.com, a one-stop destination to gain access to exclusive un-aired scenes, games, family interviews, GIF galleries, and #CHRISLEYNATION — a virtual heat map that tracks “Chrisley Knows Best” fans worldwide. Season three features live Periscope chats with the Chrisley family, dubbed “Todd Talks,” offering fans the chance to interact directly with their favorite reality TV family. Fans can also try out their favorite Chrisley one-liners through the branded “Chrisley Knows Best” channel on the popular video messaging app, Dubsmash.

“Chrisley Knows Best” is produced by Maverick TV and All3Media America, with Adam Greener, Stephanie Bloch Chambers, Marilyn Wilson, Jen Perry Leamy, Jim Sayer, Eli Holzman and Stephen Lambert serving as executive producers. Annie Kate Pons serves as supervising producer.
