Best friends, Mia and Mel (Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne) are living their best lives, running their own cosmetics company until a villainous beauty mogul (Salma Hayek) conspires to steal it from under them. When her devious plan drives the besties apart, Mia and Mel learn that sticking together is the only way to turn the tables and take their company back. The beauty business is about to get ugly. The film also stars Jennifer Coolidge and Billy Porter.

The Digital and Blu-ray releases deliver even more laughs with deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes bonus content featuring interviews with the uproarious ensemble cast.

 

 

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Arriving in time for Easter gift-giving (April 12), this spectacular release features three Blu-ray Discs™ and includes not only the fully restored 1956 version of the film but also DeMille’s original 1923 silent version, as well as a 16-page booklet featuring rare photos and historical facts about both productions. The set also includes an in-depth, 73-minute documentary entitled “The Ten Commandments: Making Miracles,” commentary on the 1956 film by Katherine Orrison, author of “Written in Stone: Making Cecil B. DeMille’s Epic, The Ten Commandments,” newsreel footage of the film’s New York premiere, theatrical trailers, hand-tinted footage of the Exodus and Parting of the Red Sea sequence from the 1923 version, a two-color Technicolor segment, and photo galleries.

DeMille’s last motion picture made Charlton Heston a superstar and remains a cinematic triumph and perennial fan-favorite. Filmed in Egypt and the Sinai with one of the biggest sets ever constructed for a motion picture, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS tells the story of the life of Moses (Heston). Once favored in the Pharaoh’s (Yul Brynner) household, Moses turned his back on a privileged life to lead his people to freedom.

With nothing left to lose, Stephanie transforms from victim to assassin and discovers that neither revenge nor the truth are what they appear.

The Digital and Blu-ray releases boast more than 40 minutes of exclusive bonus content, including deleted and extended scenes and multiple featurettes detailing the creation and look of this visceral action-thriller.

 

 

PARAMOUNT PRESENTS – FATAL ATTRACTION, KING CREOLE, TO CATCH A THIEF

Recognizing and celebrating films from the studio’s vast and storied library, the “Paramount Presents” banner will be used for a new line of collectible Blu-ray Discs™ incorporating a curated selection of enduringly popular movies, as well as films that had a cultural impact upon their release.

Designed for fans and film lovers, the new line of “Paramount Presents” Blu-ray Discs will include a diverse and eclectic array of films spanning all genres. The new collection will return each title to the spotlight with meticulously remastered releases that include brand new bonus content focused on the filmmakers. Presented in collectible packaging that includes a foldout image of the original movie poster and interior artwork featuring key movie moments, each Blu-ray in the Paramount Presents line features new interviews with filmmakers and/or celebrated film historian Leonard Maltin.

The first three films in the “Paramount Presents” Blu-ray line will be the unforgettable phenomenon FATAL ATTRACTION, which has been remastered under the supervision of director Adrian Lyne; 1958’s acclaimed Elvis Presley drama King Creole; and director Alfred Hitchcock’s intoxicating romantic thriller To Catch A Thief, which celebrates its 65th anniversary this year.

 

 

LOOKING FOR ALASKA

Based on author John Green’s (“The Fault In Our Stars”) award-winning first novel of the same name, LOOKING FOR ALASKA is a moving story of friendship, love, and loss. LOOKING FOR ALASKA follows Miles “Pudge” Halter (Charlie Plummer) who is searching for a deeper perspective on life and decides to enroll at the boarding school Culver Creek Academy. He finds a loyal group of friends and falls in love with Alaska Young (Kristine Froseth). After an unexpected tragedy, the close group of friends tries to cope with everything they’ve been through and find some answers along the way.

The 3-disc DVD set includes all eight episodes, plus over 40 minutes of fan-centric bonus content, including 18 never-before-seen deleted scenes and two featurettes that incorporate an exclusive interview with John Green.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2020, BRAVEHEART won five Academy Awards®, including Best Picture. The richly detailed saga of power, passion, and the fight for freedom stars Mel Gibson (who also took home the Oscar® for Best Director) as William Wallace, a bold Scotsman who rallies his countrymen to liberation from oppressive English rule. The 4K Steelbook includes access to a digital copy of the film and previously released commentary by Mel Gibson on both the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray presentations, along with more than two hours of previously released bonus content, including interactive timelines, a making-of documentary, multiple behind-the-scenes featurettes, and more.

 

Originally released on May 5, 2000, director Ridley Scott’s GLADIATOR celebrates its 20th anniversary. Also a winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, the film is an unparalleled combination of vivid action and extraordinary storytelling. Russell Crowe won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of a Roman general who is betrayed by a corrupt prince (Joaquin Phoenix) and comes to Rome as a gladiator to seek revenge. The 4K Steelbook includes access to a digital copy of the film and both theatrical and extended versions of the feature on 4K Ultra HD, along with two separate commentaries. FRIDAY THE 13TH 40th Anniversary

Originally released on May 9, 1980, FRIDAY THE 13TH captured audiences’ imaginations and permeated our collective psyche. The film spawned one of the longest-running and most successful horror franchises in film history with 11 subsequent movies and, 40 years later, the iconic machete-wielding killer continues to haunt, fascinate and terrify new generations.

FRIDAY THE 13TH follows a group of young counselors preparing for the reopening of Camp Crystal Lake, where a boy drowned years earlier. One by one, the counselors are stalked by a mysterious and violent killer. The film stars Betsy Palmer, Adrienne King, and Kevin Bacon. The FRIDAY THE 13TH Limited Edition Blu-ray Steelbook features artwork from the original movie poster and includes the uncut, unrated version of the film, as well as access to a digital copy of the original theatrical version. URBAN COWBOY – 40th Anniversary

Originally released on June 6, 1980, URBAN COWBOY celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Starring John Travolta and Debra Winger, the movie chronicles the rocky love story of Bud and Sissy, set against the backdrop of Houston’s famous honky-tonk bar, Gilley’s.

The URBAN COWBOY Blu-ray features new bonus content, including a retrospective piece called “Good Times with Gilley: Looking Back at Urban Cowboy” featuring a new interview with Mickey Gilley, and multiple deleted scenes. The Blu-ray also includes outtakes and rehearsal footage previously released on DVD, as well as access to a digital copy of the film.
