Los Angeles, CA – April 19, 2022 – RLJE Films, a business unit of AMC Networks, has picked up select rights to the horror anthology series “Slasher: Flesh & Blood” from Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural. RLJE Films will release “Slasher: Flesh & Blood” on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD on May 17th.
Developed and produced by Shaftesbury in association with the Rogers Cable Network Fund and created by Aaron Martin, “Slasher: Flesh & Blood” stars David Cronenberg (“Eastern Promises,” “The Fly”), Rachael Crawford (“Possessor”), Sabrina Grdevich (“A.I. Artificial Intelligence”), Sydney Ozerov-Meyer (“Y: The Last Man”), and Alex Ozerov-Meyer (“Orphan Black”) and is executive produced by Aaron Martin, Christina Jennings, Scott Garvie, David Ozer, Thomas P. Vitale, David Nagelber, Tim Rouhana, and Showrunner Ian Carpenter, with Adam MacDonald (“Backcountry”), directing. The Blu-ray and DVD will be available for an SRP of $34.97.
In “Slasher: Flesh & Blood,” a wealthy, dysfunctional family gathers for a reunion on a secluded island and soon discovers they’ll be pitted against one another in a cruel game of life and death, all while being stalked by a mysterious masked killer. Nothing is what it seems, and no one is safe as the tension – and body count – ratchets up.
