“Scream” Star Neve Campbell To Appear At Texas Frightmare Weekend May 1-3

Texas Frightmare Weekend will be celebrating it’s 10th anniversary in 2015. In celebration of this milestone we’ll be announcing some of the most sought after guests the convention world has ever seen!

So, we want to ask you…Do you like scary movies?

If you answered “HELL YES!” then get out your Ghost Face masks and brace yourself for our next major announcement…

Ready? You sure? Well then, here we go…

Wes Craven’s “Scream” is without a doubt one of the most popular fright film franchises in horror history. So, in keeping with our tradition of bringing horror royalty, the cream de la scream to Dallas, we’re proud to announce that actress and “Scream” series superstar Neve Campbell is making her very first convention appearance at the Southwest’s premier horror convention and film festival this May 1-3!

Neve Campbell was already well-known to audiences as “Party of Five”’s Julia Salinger before she scored her role as shy, self-conscious teenager Bonnie in the cult teen chiller “The Craft.” But it’s her recurring role in all four “Scream” films as Sidney Prescott, the main heroine and protagonist, that has garnered her significant critical praise and fan adoration throughout the series. The role earned Neve the Saturn Award for Best Actress in 1997 (for the first “Scream” film), and in 1998 she took home the MTV Award for Best Female Performance for her role in “Scream 2,” firmly securing her status as one of this generation’s most sought after Scream Queens.

Spread across two decades and through many diverse films and genres, her professional credits to date also include the romantic comedy “Three to Tango” alongside Matthew Perry and the erotic thriller “Wild Things” with Denise Richards and Matt Dillon.
