New Children’s Book, ‘Stence Poe,’ Reminds Readers Of The Importance Of Forgiveness

Phoenix, AZ – March 16, 2020 – PRNewswire-PRWeb – Jimmy Lee and his friend, Stence Poe, discover the true meaning of friendship in ‘Stence Poe’ by Gerald Croswell. The first book in the new children’s book series shares a remarkably compelling story of hope and faith that will teach readers precious life lessons.

The story follows Stence Poe, a seven-year-old girl, whose best friend, Jimmy Lee, accidentally runs into her with his bike. Jimmy Lee’s mother told him on multiple occasions not to ride his bike on the sidewalk because he may injure someone. Jimmy Lee’s mother, unfortunately, is right, and Jimmy ends up injuring his best friend, Stence Poe.

Jimmy’s mother makes him go to Stence Poe’s house and apologize to her in front of all her family members and friends. He not only apologizes but his apology is so sincere that Stence Poe’s family was not mad at him anymore, and of course, Stence Poe accepts his apology.

“The story in the book is based on a true event that happened to me at a young age. I learned to say, ‘I’m sorry’ and to admit when I was wrong,” says Croswell. “Drowned in media information, we as people are forgetting the basics. Being able to say sorry when you are wrong is an important lesson and can make a practical impact in children’s lives.”

Children will enjoy the entertaining plot and colorful illustrations in ‘Stence Poe’ as they learn the true meaning of friendship and forgiveness. Parents will appreciate the valuable life lessons presented throughout the book.
