Movie Review: “The Mole Agent” Is By Far, The Sweetest Story Ever Expressing Love, Compassion, And True Friendship

A private investigator in Chile hires someone to work as a mole at a retirement home where a client of his suspects the caretakers of elder abuse.

An elderly man named Sergio is hired to go undercover in a nursing home to report any wrongdoings to the client’s mother. Once in, he quickly forms a close bond with the residents where he becomes one of their closest confidants. After getting to know the many personalities, he takes note of their pain and sorrow, comforting them through their frustration of facing their mortality alone.

This is a beautiful story of a man hired to report any violations but ends up focusing on the needs of others, and touching the hearts of those who desperately needed to feel the beauty left in living. This is by far the sweetest story ever, showing such love, compassion, and the true meaning of friendship.
