Movie Review: Evangelical Christians Lend Undying Financial Support To Israel In “’Til Kingdom Come”

An in-depth look into the unique bond between Evangelical Christianity and the Jewish State.

With strong belief the Jews are imperative for the return of Jesus Christ, Evangelical Christians have been responsible for donating over $127 million dollars annually to the organization International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Founded in 1983, the fellowship’s intent has been to build the bridge between the understanding and cooperation between Christians, Jews and broad support for the state of Israel. With opposing religious and political views, this documentary explores the underlying reasons Christians are so devoted to supporting Israel.

It also touches on Trump’s involvement and the consequences that will have in the future as a result. I thought this was a fascinating documentary that digs a bit deeper into what really goes on behind the scenes of religious groups you’d never expect to see united; then you find out even though they do not share the same beliefs and values, they’ve come to the realization they can use each other for financial and political gain. Then the question remains, at what cost? We’ll just have to wait and see.
