“Jersey Boys” To Play The Winspear Opera House In Dallas Dec. 16 – Dec. 27

Dates have been announced for the Dallas return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical “Jersey Boys,” the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to Dallas to play the Winspear Opera House in the Dallas Arts District on Wednesday, December 16th through Sunday, December 27th.

“Jersey Boys” is the winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award®, the 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Show Album, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical and the 2010 Helpmann Award for Best Musical (Australia). The previous engagement of “Jersey Boys” in Dallas was an overwhelming success, seen by over 52,000 people and remains the highest grossing Broadway engagement in the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s history. “Jersey Boys” worldwide has been seen by over 22 million people (as of January, 2015).

“Our previous five-week engagement of JERSEY BOYS took Dallas by storm. This time, with only 16 performances over two weeks, we expect ‘Jersey Boys’ to be the hottest Holiday ticket in Dallas. I encourage people to get their tickets early.” said Doug Curtis, president and CEO of the Center.

Directed by two-time Tony® Award-winner Des McAnuff, “Jersey Boys” is written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

“Jersey Boys” is part of the Broadway Series presented in Dallas by the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

“Jersey Boys” is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the true story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were thirty. The show features all their hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Working My Way Back To You.”

The “Jersey Boys” US National Tour opened to rave reviews in San Francisco on December 1st, 2006, and is still breaking house records in cities across North America. “Jersey Boys” is currently playing in New York; Las Vegas; London; and in cities across North America and the U.K. on National Tours.

The “Jersey Boys” design and production team comprises Klara Zieglerova (Scenic Design), Jess Goldstein (Costume Design), Howell Binkley (winner of the 2006 Tony Award® for his Lighting Design of JERSEY BOYS), Steve Canyon Kennedy (Sound Design), Michael Clark (Projections Design), Charles LaPointe (Wig and Hair Design), Steve Orich (Orchestrations) and Ron Melrose (Music Supervision, Vocal/Dance Arrangements & Incidental Music).
