I had the great pleasure to speak with director Remy Auberjonois and his wife, actress Kate Nowlin, about their powerful and hypnotic new psychological thriller, “Blood Stripe,” which tells the story of a female veteran who returns home to a small town in Minnesota, having just completed her third tour with the Marines in Afghanistan. When her usual homecoming rituals with her husband and family give her no solace, it becomes clear that in addition to the shrapnel scars she bears on her torso, she carries unseen wounds.
“Blood Stripe” has its World Premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival tonight.
