Minneapolis, MN – May 7, 2021 – Mill Creek Entertainment is thrilled to partner with Mutiny Pictures on the release “Equal Standard.” Hitting theaters May 7th, the film tells the poignant, timely, and politically charged story of police in New York City struggling with race, rank, betrayal, and loss. The film is Taheim Bryan’s writing and acting debut and is inspired by his personal life experience.

Directed by Brendan Kyle Cochrane, “Equal Standard” offers a perspective from both sides of the law, and audiences are caught in the crossfire.
“There are people who have never dealt with the cops’ brutality or it doesn’t happen in their community,” Ice-T recently told Entertainment Tonight. “What I hope is all the protesters take [the lessons from EQUAL STANDARD] with them in their day-to-day life, and when they see racism or they see something wrong, that they step up against it as one person.”
