“Lost in America,” the shocking documentary casting a light on the harsh realities of homelessness affecting more than four million youths each year in America, is arriving on DVD and Digital HD June 9th from Indican Pictures.
Directed by former homeless youth Rotimi Rainwater (Sugar), “Lost in America” follows him on his six-year journey as he gets up close and personal with more than 30 affected youths in over 15 cities across the country. The documentary takes an all-encompassing look at youth homelessness, highlighting issues such as human trafficking, the foster care system, LGBTQ youth rejection, domestic violence, abuse, and more. To understand what the government and organizations are doing to help, Rotimi also interviews homeless youth organizations and prominent political allies, including the U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont.
