Steve Buscemi, Steve Carell, Gilbert Gottfried, Maya Rudolph, and Sarah Silverman will join host Jon Stewart and previously announced talent on February 28th inside the Beacon Theatre for an evening of live performances, sketches, and short films. Fred Armisen, Andy Cohen, Ilana Glazer, Abbi Jacobson, and Susan Sarandon have been added to the celebrity roster manning the phone banks during the March 8 live telecast.

Previously announced performers for the February 28th taping include Bill Burr, Louis C.K., John Oliver, Paul Rudd and Amy Schumer, and celebrities manning the phone banks during the March 8 live event also include Larry David, Martin Short and Larry Wilmore.

This year’s event will premiere on Comedy Central on Sunday, March 8th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT with live wrap-arounds featuring a celebrity phone bank, allowing viewers to call in during the airing to donate while speaking with comedic and celebrity heavyweights.

GEICO is sponsoring the on-air event and online auction for “Night of Too Many Stars.” Additional sponsors include Acura, Dee Ocleppo, Gillette®, M&M’S, Navigant, Supersmile, and White Castle.

Comedy Central’s “Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Programs” is a co-production with Jon Stewart’s Busboy Productions. Stewart, Robert Smigel, Chris McShane, and Carol Donovan are executive producers.

Since 2006, “Night of Too Many Stars” has raised over $18 million. In 2012, “Night of Too Many Stars,” through its partner organization New York Collaborates for Autism, gave almost $4 million in grants to 52 programs in 20 states.

Autism now affects an estimated 1 in 68 American children (1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls), a ten-fold increase in prevalence in 40 years. “Night of Too Many Stars” will benefit a variety of autism education and family service programs across the country, in support of the overabundance of individuals with autism and their families who so desperately need quality services.
