Celebrate “Stella’s Last Weekend” October 12

Oliver (Alex Wolff) is a Queens high school senior who is madly in love with Violet, the girl of his dreams. Oliver’s older brother, Jack (Nat Wolff), is not so lucky with his love life, having made a real connection with a girl who suddenly dropped him without any explanation.

When Jack comes home from college for a special celebration of Stella, the family’s beloved but aging dog, he soon discovers that the girl who broke his heart is the very same Violet who has stolen Oliver’s heart. A series of comic complications ensue as the romantic rivalry between the brothers escalates, Violet wavers between the two equally appealing siblings, and the entire family tries to get through the emotional upheaval of Stella’s impending “last hurrah.”

Playing brothers for the first time on the big screen, Nat and Alex Wolff bring a wealth of humor and heart to a film written and directed by their real-life mother, Polly Draper, who also portrays their mother in the movie. The film also features Paulina Singer, Nick Sandow, Julia Macchio and, in the title role, Stella — a rescue dog recruited from a shelter, who began the film as a complete unknown, but who became a star — as well as the newest member of the Wolff/Draper clan.

Starring Nat Wolff (“Paper Towns,” “The Fault in Our Stars”), Alex Wolff (“Hereditary,” “My Friend Dahmer”), Polly Draper (“Thirtysomething,” “Demolition”), Paulina Singer (“Dead of Summer,” “The Intern”), and Nick Sandow (“Orange Is the New Black,” “The Wannabe”).

Written and Directed by Polly Draper.

In theaters October 12th
