In 2010, Bruce Cameron penned the novel, ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ and it was a New York Times bestseller for almost a year. In 2012, a sequel emerged, ‘A Dog’s Journey,’ and then five years later, after Dreamworks bought the rights to the books, the movie “A Dog’s Purpose” was released. Bruce and his wife Cathryn Michon adapted the book into a screenplay and I had the privilege of speaking with them both about making the transition from page to screen.
