Blu-ray Review: Fans Will Be Rewarded With “The Flash: The Complete Sixth Season”

Last season, Team Flash spent the last year dealing with not one, but two Cicadas, the return of Eobard Thawne, aka Reverse Flash, and the surprise arrival from the future of Barry and Iris’ daughter, Nora West-Allen, aka XS. The stakes were higher than ever during the season five finale. In season six, Team Flash contends with not one, but two all-new villains – Bloodwork and Mirror Master!

“The Flash” stars Grant Gustin as the title character who lives in the Arrowverse has an interesting sixth season. It starts with his daughter Iris (Candice Patton), being gone, possibly into a black hole. Barry has to follow her into it and stop it before it’s too late.

Other situations that affect Barry this season are seeing the multiverse destroyed and even witnessing his own death. Caitlin and Frost (both played by Danielle Panabaker) come to terms with each other. A man named Ramsey Russo becomes one of the big villains this season when he experiments with dark matter and comes up with metahuman powers.

Also, Barry is losing his speed, and Iris is taken into a mirror world and replaced by a doppelganger. There are various other baddies the team has to face and of course, Barry has to deal with saying goodbye as he thinks he will die and has to leave to be part of the big season crossover event Crisis On Infinite Earths.

Since the pandemic cut filming short we were left on some cliffhangers that will be resolved in Season Seven. Overall, a very satisfying season of “The Flash” with lots of twists and turns to keep you on our toes.
