HBO & Funko Partner To Bring Pop-Up To HBO Shop In New York Timed To NYCC

Fans of HBO programming can soon be surrounded by their favorite Funko figurines and merchandise inspired by on-screen characters as Funko takes over the official HBO Shop, located at 42nd St. and 6th Ave. in Manhattan, October 4th-7th.

Prepare to be immersed in a vast array of highly collectible Funko products from Pop! Vinyls, Pop! Keychains, Pop! Tees, Dorbz, pint glasses and more, from HBO series including “Game of Thrones,” “Westworld,” “Silicon Valley,” “Veep,” and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”

This limited time event coincides with New York Comic Con, making the pop-up a perfect must-see destination for Con attendees and fans of HBO characters. Additionally, the HBO Shop will feature limited quantities of the NYCC exclusive “Metallic” Game of Thrones Funko Children of the Forest Pop! figure only available at the HBO Shop and shop.hbo.com. The Pop-Up shop will also be the first place fans can purchase the next wave of GOT Funko figures before it becomes available at other retailers. The new wave includes the following figures:

For the duration of the Pop-Up shop, the HBO Shop will be open with extended hours from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday-Friday and from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Featuring unique social media-worthy photo opportunities throughout, including an in-store step and repeat for attendees to pose with their newly purchased figurines.

HBO will host an exclusive press preview night on Wednesday, October 3rd from 4-7pm EST. Press attendees at this event will be the first to see the Funko takeover and can enjoy a glass of “Game of Thrones” Wine by Vintage Wine Estates and/or a “Game of Thrones” Beer by Brewery Ommegang. Gift bags will be given out on a first come first serve basis!

Guests of the press preview night must be 21 years or older.
