“RiffTrax Live: Santa And The Ice Cream Bunny” In Theaters Tonight

Christmas comes early to fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 with an Encore showing of “RiffTrax Live: Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny,” in theaters around the country tonight! The reboot of MST3K just become the most funded film and video project ever on Kickstarter, and while fans of the show will have to wait until next year for new episodes, they can get an early fix tonight with this Christmas Special from MST3K alumni Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot). They sling their wisecracking commentary at Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny, a 1972 cult classic known for poor production values, bad acting and a Florida setting. The event was filmed live onstage from Nashville last week and was beamed to movie theaters around the country. Audiences loved it and it is the #1 rated movie in theaters tonight.
